I am an activist by profession and have always loved politics. My degrees (from Indiana University) are in English and Religious Studies. I minored in Political Science with an emphasis on foreign policy; I am a policy wonk of sorts. I am also a mom to two beautiful boys, ages 10 and 12.   But more important than my party loyalty is my loyalty to my country, to our Constitution, to the truth, and to my children.

And in case you haven't noticed, as a nation we are in trouble.
We're starting pre-emptive, unconstitutional, and accomplish-nothing wars which are bankrupting our nation and eroding our civil liberties. Our dollar continues to depreciate as we finance the war at the gas pump. Our borders remain unsecured. And the government spends billions of our taxpayer dollars housing non-violent offenders for smoking or possessing marijuana. Scary snapshot, isn't it?

My introduction to Ron Paul came this past summer, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't initially stunned by what he wants to do --end the IRS and the Federal Reserve? Abolish the income tax? Is this guy serious? Yes, yes, and yes.

He's not only serious, he is genuine. When is the last time you heard that about any politician, let alone one running for President?

Ron Paul is the only person I trust not to sell out to corporate interests and lobbyists. He is the leader we have been waiting for --the one who will fight for OUR RIGHTS.

He supports a return to our Constitution, a return to our civil liberties, a return to sound currency, and a return to responsible U.S. foreign policy. What else do you need to know?
